Al Hamen

PASSITO DI NOTO
DOC
SICILIA

The Al Hamen PDO Moscato Passito di Noto demonstrates our bond with our land and its history.
It refers to the ancient Arabic name for the village of Marzamemi: “Marsà al Hamen” or “mooring of turtledoves”. The wine is produced with grapes dried on trellises in the sun. It brings out all the exceptional qualities of the Moscato vine variety, grown around Syracuse since the 3rd century BC.
The wine is golden yellow in colour, with a particular aroma of candied fruit and honey combined with hints of figs and apricots. It’s velvety on the palate, warm and enveloping.
It evokes all the flavours, warmth and vivacity of Sicily right from the very first taste. Its special character has earned it a place in the top wine guides, as well as awards in Italian and international competitions.
